Health & Safety at A-Line is of utmost importance and we ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, clients, contractors, visitors and other persons in the workplace.

We have an excellent Health & Safety record and have instigated the SiteSafe safety system. All personnel and subcontractors have a minimum of a Construction Passports, with most senior staff having Advanced Passport certificates. Site Safe Passports are required to be held by all persons working on our sites and all employees and contractors are provided with a Site Specific Induction by the Site Manager upon construction commencement. All persons who work on our sites are required to provide proof that they hold the necessary training and certification to undertake the works they are employed to do.

We also have monthly site safety audit inspections and these results are provided to the Client as part of our two-weekly site meeting report. Our Health and Safety Manager regularly monitors the sites and implements our company’s safety systems. The culture of all our team is very positive towards the safety of all persons involved in A-Line’s projects, resulting in excellent feedback from many architects, clients and subcontractors.

A-Line Construction understand that we have a responsibility to our employees, clients, subcontractors and also the public to minimise the environmental impact of our activities. We ensure that any risks or damage to the environment on our construction sites are managed and minimised, in view of preserving our great New Zealand environment.
